News and Events
The Canadian Association of Sexuality Professionals (CASP) is proud to mark an important milestone with the completion of its first ever two-day, in-person Sexual Attitude Reassessment (SAR), held in Winnipeg on October 29–30, 2025.
This inaugural SAR brought together sexuality professionals from across Manitoba and Ontario for a deeply reflective, experiential, and professionally grounding learning experience. Over the course of two days, participants engaged in guided reflection, facilitated dialogue, and values-based inquiry designed to increase self-awareness, challenge implicit bias, and strengthen ethical and culturally responsive practice in the field of sexuality.
Hosting the SAR in Winnipeg was intentional, reflecting CASP’s commitment to accessibility, regional inclusion, and building a truly national professional community. The gathering created space not only for individual growth, but also for meaningful connection among professionals dedicated to advancing sex-positive, trauma-informed, and socially accountable care.
CASP is especially grateful for the sponsorship and support of the International Sexology Supervisors, whose partnership helped make this milestone event possible. Their commitment to high standards in supervision and professional development aligns closely with CASP’s mission to foster excellence, integrity, and ongoing learning among sexuality professionals in Canada.
The successful completion of this first SAR represents a significant step forward for CASP and signals the beginning of expanded in-person training opportunities across the country. CASP looks forward to building on this momentum and continuing to offer transformative professional development experiences that support both personal reflection and clinical excellence.
Sexuality is an integral part of being human, a fundamental aspect of our identity and experience.
